Resource Center
Owned by the Kenya Institute of Education (KIE), NACECE Resource Center (NRC) is an educational resource centre offering state-of-the-art conference and accommodation facilities. It is located in KIE compound on Nairobi’s Desai Road, off Murang’a Road hardly 10 minutes drive from the city centre and just a 20 minutes drive from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. It is only 1km out of the city centre of Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.
Conferencing Facilities
Conference Halls: The center has 14 seminar rooms with a capacity of over 30 persons each with; LCD projectors, public address systems, computers. There is also a large well-equipped Auditorium with a capacity of up to 400 persons. It is equipped with a modern multilingual delegate system for 200 participants. The system can handle translation of five (5) different languages. Next to the Auditorium is a VIP lounge and secretariat room.
Open Grounds: The NACEE Resource Center has open grounds ideal for exhibitions, weddings, cocktails, organizational banquets, Christmas parties and any other social gatherings.
Courtesy van to drop and pick customers to and from various destinations whenever required.
Borehole: A borehole to ensure continued water supply to the facility.
Standby generator: To ensure continuous power supply during electricity shortage.
A Modern library for Early Childhood Development (ECD) Research and Educational Resources.
Rooms: there are a total of 74 rooms comprising double and single beds. Each room is fitted with a colour TV set and telephone. The attached bathrooms are well designed to ensure client comfort and safety. Some rooms have been designed to meet the needs of People Living with Disability, a rare feature in most accommodation facilities in Nairobi.
Health Club: the center values the health of all its clients. Towards this end, the center has inbuilt state-of-the-art gymnasium accessible to all borders for free. The center has full-time professional health club officers to train/guide clients interested in using the gym.
Business Center: the NACECE Resource Center has a modern 12-hour business center to take care of clients’ shopping needs. The business center contains an array of computers and modern communication facilities to facilitate customer communication round the globe; for e-mailing, fax, telephone and a candy shop.

Our Rates
Accommodation per person per night is 3,000KSH for bed and breakfast, half board at 3,500 KSH and 4,300 KSH for full board, all prices exclusive of 16% vat. The conference package varies as per the hall chosen as indicated below:

Are there alcoholic beverages?
No, but we allow cocktails and parties in the facility.
What your partnership means for children: Unlike other facilities offering similar services, we at the NRC value children and their early growth and development. To that end, we support Early Childhood Education of children in Kenya and the money you pay will go towards research and curriculum development for ECE sub-sector besides sustaining NRC itself.
